About DrugRX.org

How DrugRX organizes and sources its drug and substance information.

A reference built around the substance

DrugRX.org explains prescription medicines, psychoactive compounds and related substance categories. Search accepts generic names, selected brands and common aliases, while each substance has a single main article.

Names and relationships

A brand can contain more than one ingredient. Similar names can also describe different molecules. DrugRX keeps N,N-DMT, 5-MeO-DMT and 4-AcO-DMT separate, and distinguishes mushroom species from cultivated varieties. Species and variety pages link to one another.

Sources and editorial standards

Articles link to government health references, regulatory information and published studies. Source consultation dates appear on each article. An early study, regulatory designation and approved medical use are different types of evidence.

These editorial summaries have not been independently medically reviewed. They do not replace a product label, a prescribing clinician or a pharmacist. A dose or benefit is not asserted where the cited evidence does not establish it.

Coverage and pricing

The directory focuses on the listed prescription drugs and substances; it does not cover over-the-counter medication products. Industrial chemicals are identified as exposure references rather than medicines.

DrugRX does not sell or dispense products. Where a published estimate can be verified, we save its product, formulation, strength, quantity, source and check date. These are dated price snapshots rather than a live pharmacy feed.
